What does Kyara Lab do?
It keeps an illustrated character on-model across every image you need. You upload references of a character you own, fill a character model sheet — turnarounds, expressions, poses, details — and generate the character in any scene you describe, as a full scene or a transparent cutout.
How much does it cost?
You start with 30 free credits and no card. One credit makes one standard image; a high-quality image costs three. After that you buy credits as you need them, from $0.15 per credit down to $0.075 at larger amounts. There is no subscription, and credits never expire.
What happens if a render fails?
A failed generation is refunded automatically. Repeating an identical request reuses the earlier result and costs nothing.
Who owns the images?
You keep all rights to the references you upload and to the images Kyara Lab generates for you. Mycelium LLC claims no ownership over either.
Are my uploads used to train AI models?
No. Your characters, references and generated images are stored so the product works, scoped to your account, and are not used to train models.
Can it draw two characters together?
No. Kyara Lab draws one character per image. That is how it keeps each character on-model, so scenes with several characters need to be composed afterwards.
Can it put text in an image?
Not reliably. Ask for a blank sign, screen or speech bubble and add real type in your own layout.
How long does an image take?
About 30 seconds. Generation is sequential, so filling a whole model sheet takes minutes. Under load you may wait 30 to 60 seconds before a render starts rather than seeing it fail.
How many reference images can I upload?
Up to 14 per character, which is the model’s reference limit. One image works; three or four angles work much better.
What can I export?
Any single image, the completed model sheet as one composed PNG, every asset for a character as a ZIP with its references and profile, or your entire account record as one archive.
Can an AI agent use my character?
Yes, through the Agent API. An agent can list your characters, generate scenes and cutouts, and read history. It cannot change a character’s identity or references, approve renders, or spend beyond your balance.
